Hiking in Bischofsmais
 With almost 90 km hiking trails, mainly through forests and meadows, you can enjoy the unspoiled nature. Most famous tours are St. Hermann, round the "Hermannsschopf" to the "Landshuter Haus" at the Oberbreitenau (1027m), the "Geißkopf" with its viewing-tower (1097m), the "Einödriegel" (1120m) and also the "Teufelstisch".
Also the "Böhmweg" (mentioned on the History Page) takes you from Deggendorf, via Greising to Zwiesel and Prague, directly through Bischofsmais. Additional tours are offered frequently.
Also the "National Park Bayrischer Wald", the historical city Regensburg with many historical sights and the "city of 3 rivers" Passau with its museums, can be easily reached from Bischofsmais.
